A wonderful school and very strong teachers! I especially want to mention Mikhail, who put a lot of care and effort into every lesson. I learned Czech up to C1 and got a tuition-free place!

I came to Prague from Kazakhstan in September 2024 with zero Czech. The hardest part was deciding to start a new life in another country. After a year of preparation I reached C1 and applied to 3 universities. In the end I got into VŠE, Faculty of Economics and Management. Now I study and work part-time as a barista. So glad I took this step and got into a Czech university! 💙

I came to the Czech Republic from Iran knowing that the first step toward university admission was improving my Czech. I started with language courses and gradually got used to both the language and life in Prague. In 2026 I was accepted to ČVUT, Faculty of Architecture. Now I am getting used to university life and to the fact that Czech has already become a natural part of my everyday life.

I came to the Czech Republic from Uzbekistan to get into a university. At first I worried most about the language — studying and communicating in Czech felt unusual. Thanks to the language courses I gradually improved my level and felt more confident in everyday life. In 2026 I was accepted to ČZU, Faculty of Informatics. Now university life, new friends and lots of new things to learn are ahead.

Moving to Prague started with a simple question for me: how can I study and plan my future in a new country without knowing the language well enough? So I decided to focus first on learning Czech and preparing for university admission. During the courses I became much more comfortable understanding Czech, communicating and navigating everyday life. In 2025 I was accepted to Charles University, Faculty of Humanities. Now it is hard to imagine this journey without that very first step — learning Czech. Thanks, KOVER!

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do I need any Czech to start?

No. 90% of our students start from zero: over the academic year (920 academic hours) we take you to C1, which is enough for university studies.

What if I do not get in?

We apply to 3–5 universities at once to minimise the risk. If it does not work out the first time, we analyse the reasons and help you reapply for the next intake.

Will my school diploma be recognised?

Yes, CIS diplomas are recognised through nostrification. We handle the whole procedure: documents, translations, deadlines.

Can I get into medicine?

Yes. For medical faculties we add specialised preparation: biology and chemistry in Czech using university terminology, plus the entrance exam format.

Is the visa refusal rate high?

With a complete document package and interview preparation refusals are rare. We prepare a checklist for your country, check every document and rehearse the consulate interview.

I am 17 — can I come?

Yes, we accept students from 16. Minors need notarised parental consent — we will help arrange it and stay in touch with the family all year.

Is university really free?

Yes. At Czech state universities education in Czech is free for everyone, including foreigners — it is guaranteed by law. You only pay for the preparatory year and living costs.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, the programme cost can be split into parts — we will discuss the terms at the consultation and fix them in the contract.
